Rationale |
This module introduces students to key explanatory theories of politics. Students are encouraged to critically explore different conceptual approaches developed through each theory and consider their underlying assumptions. In the second part of the module, students critically explore the potential usefulness of these approaches to explain a range of topical political issues. |

Critical thinking skills workshop in induction week. Module content delivered through alternating workshop sessions and online activities on Blackboard. |
